What is ASZ?

This school is a project against racism and injustice. It is a place where one can meet and get to know other people.

The ASZ is a self-organized school, which is managed collectively. It is independent of the state. The school doesn’t work together with the state.

It receives school material and donations from individuals and organizations. It does take money from public institutions, as long as its independence is respected.

All people that learn and work here are an important part of the school. All students are also teachers, all teachers are also students. There is no boss.

People who work at ASZ do so as volunteers and without getting paid. The organization also has a paid secretarial position.

Important decisions are taken communally at a monthly general assembly. There are several working groups (AGs), who carry out different tasks for the school.

Everyone is responsible for shaping the school as a communal place.

At ASZ, one can implement their own ideas. We’d be happy if you’d want to actively help out in a working group, in a project, or through your own ideas.
