1. I’d like to learn German. What should I do?
Thank you for your interest. Come to the school office of the Autonomous School Zürich on the ground floor at Sihlquai 125 on a Monday, Wednesday, or Friday between 10:00 and 17:00. There, we will give you some information about the school, do a placement test, and show you your class.
2. I‘d like to come to the English course. How much does it cost?
All courses at ASZ are free. However, we are always grateful if you support us in any way. For example by helping to clean, by covering a shift in the cafe, or via a donation.
3. I‘d like to join the Arabic course. When can I start?
You can start at any time at ASZ. There are no start dates.
4. I’d like to help out at the ASZ. How can I join?
Thank you for your interest. Come to the school office of the Autonomous School Zürich on the ground floor at Sihlquai 125 on a Monday, Wednesday, or Friday between 10:00 and 17:00h. There, we will inform you about the structure of the school and then we’ll look together for a working group you can join.
5. I have material donations for the ASZ. Do you take them?
Thank you for your donations. We are always interested in school material (paper, notebooks, writing material, German teaching materials, computers and furniture).

6. Is there childcare available during the courses?
Yes. The childcare group looks after children on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. or 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. You need to announce yourself in advance. Please come to the office for further information.
7. Do you have holidays?
Yes, usually we have 2 weeks of winter holidays and 5 days of summer holidays. We communicate the exact dates in advance. We are open on public holidays. Only on the 1st of May we are closed. You will find us at the demonstration.
