Event: Scenes of fleeing

A black-and-white drawing of a women is carrying a small child in her arms.
It's composed of six parts, each drawn in a slightly different style.

How loved ones get lost in the Mediterranean while fleeing. Or how they lose themselves in the asylum process. Why women* are taking to the streets all over the world – including in Switzerland.

But also: how people are joining forces to renovate an important meeting place. How we could restructure the system to empower refugees. And how we can draw strength from people who remain resistant despite overwhelming repression.

Authors read from this year’s issue of Papierlose Zeitung. They talk about migration and politics, life and resistance from their own perspective – personally, journalistically and poetically.
